Question about 2005 Dodge Magnum
I have this car and have had it for 41/2 years, there is no rattle in my car nor is there any information from Dodge that there is a problem ( i retired from a dealer), the only rattle reported is with the rear lift gate interior trim which is easily fixed, there is no "upgrade" kit just replacement parts, these are the same brakes used on the 320 series Mercedes, no rattle reported for that line of cars either, are the brake pads O.E.M. pads? it may be the caliper itself has wear spots or the anti rattle clips for the brake pads are defective, you are 100% sure the rattle is from the front calipers? are the brake pads tight in the caliper and have spring tension on them? I suggest u seek out a really good brake tech and have him road test the car, u may be completely wrong about the origin of the noise.
