So everything was fine before you changed the battery and then after you installed the new battery the car wont start?
Did you double check that the battery was the correct model for your car?
Did you check that the battery cables and connectors are still in good shape (clean, tight, no signs of damage, fraying, or over-heating).
Did you check that the battery came fully charged?
Check the connections at the battery, starter, and engine block (ground).

Most of the time when it starts for 1-5 seconds then dies, its a failing of the antitheft system. Read about it thru this link. Some possible solutions too. http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/

We have a 1997 oldsmobile cutlas ciera. The heat is working but barely blows and sometimes doesn't blow at all. We think it's the blower motor and want to order the part but need to make sure this is the...

This could quite possibly be the issue but prior to purchasing a blower motor check the plug that runs to the blower motor for a burnt or frayed wire.usually when it works intermitenttently like this the wiring is an issue. If the speeds are not functioning correctly the blower resistor is having issues check the plug to the resistor as well.

How to install a cv joint, 1997 olds cutlass

Just pull or pry the axle out of the trans, the clip is on the end of the axle. It just has a groove to retain the axle in so it doesnt just slide out on its own.
