Question about 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Scan tool said no link, i unplugged my ABS module and it worked. MY replacment ABS module kept it from reading codes. Try unplugging anything new you just peplaced

Check that the fuses are good for the ECM, check that the plug on the OBD2 scan-tool is in good condition ( if a pin is broken or missing it wont work), check where the scan-tool plugs in is in good shape(that no pins have come loose or a wire to the backside hasn't broken off. If you have done all of this all ready then bring it to a shop. You may need a ECM.
