PRE-DIAGNOSTIC INSPECTIONBefore diagnosing ABS/TCS, perform a comprehensive visual inspection of system as follows.Check ABS/TCS wiring harness connectors for looseness. Check harness routing; pay particular attention to wheel speed sensor wiring harness routing. Check fuses No. 1D, 5B and 6B in instrument panel fuse block. Check fuses No. 1 and 2 in underhood fuse block. Check brake fluid level in master cylinder reservoir. Check brake fluid level in Pressure Modulator Valve (PMV) assembly reservoir. Ensure parking brake is fully released. Ensure parking brake switch is functioning properly. Always perform ABS/TCS system functional check before using DIAGNOSTIC CODE CHARTSThe EBCM/EBTCM has self-diagnostic capability, which can detect system failures. Fault codes stored by EBCM/EBTCM can be displayed using Tech 1 scan tester. There are no provisions for flash code diagnostics.Begin ABS/TCS diagnosis with PRE-DIAGNOSTIC INSPECTION procedure. If failures are found during pre-diagnostic inspection, perform necessary repairs, and proceed with ABS/TCS FUNCTIONAL CHECK. See Fig. 5 .If no failures are found during pre-diagnostic inspection, go to ABS/TCS FUNCTIONAL CHECK. See Fig. 5 . The ABS/TCS FUNCTIONAL CHECK will either indicate ABS/TCS is functioning properly or direct technician to various diagnostic procedures such as diagnostic charts, symptom diagnosis or BRAKE warning light diagnosis.CHART D - TRACTION OFF WARNING LIGHT ON CONTINUOUSLY & NO DTC SET (BUICK WITH UH8 OR U2A INSTRUMENT CLUSTER)Circuit DescriptionWhen ignition switch is first turned to RUN position, EBTCM goes through a self-test, which lasts 2-4 seconds. ABS light on, STOP warning on, Handbrake light on, bleeping sound

Get a second opinion as you are dealing with brakes here.
Things to get check/get checked
Brake fluid does it need topped up.
Fuses covering these systems are there any blown.
Brake pads are they worn or are the sensors damaged.
ABS sensors are they damaged.
Handbrake cable to front wheels worn or stretched.
Handbrake sensor faulty.
Again if it's brakes get these things checked out sounds like a faulty abs sensor but best get the rest checked to be on the safe side.
Hope this helps

Abs warning light

Handbrake light on also indicate brake fluid level maybe low. Check and top-up. If ABS light still comes on, get your car scanned for ABS error code.

My suzuki Baleno the handbrake light comes on going around corners, and the check engine light comes on usually when I speed up

low brake fluid, what year/ lost the operators guide, ?
the light glows for 3 reasons, or 4. (depends on year)
hand brake, fluid, abs (rwal) , and brake failure front or rear
the check engine light coming on is (maybe) and engine fault
again no year, stated, but it means to scan the ECU to get the
errors. connect scan tool, press scan, bingo.,
on some years,1997 and above, it also reports, A/T errors.

Esp light flashing

There could be one or more of several reasons why the ESP light has illuminated on your Smart car...
For example, you could have a fault with dirty reluctor rings on the Abs system - faulty Abs sensor/ s ... a fault with the brake light switch - a fault with the steering angle sensor -- even a software glitch / issue in the control system...
The above are known issues that can and do cause the Esp light to come on.
What you will have to do is have the car connected to a dealer diagnostic machine - This will run a full diagnostic test and fault code read - to see why the Esp light has come on and quickly and efficiently find the right cause - and then it can be sorted out, whatever it transpires to be.
You really cannot do much on a Diy basis on these for this fault. You can check the reluctor rings as mentioned above and the wiring to the ABS sensors. The abs light will often come on to with the Esp light - but not always. Dont check these these things with the Ign On....
Too, you can check to see if the brake lights are working - if they are not - thats a definite indication of brake lamp switch failure which will cause the Esp light to come on - but while its worth checking - even if the lights do work - it doesn't always follow the switch is ok - it has a dual function - brake lights and engine management circuitry...
At which point, if you have found nothing - you will have to have the diagnostic done as above to find the fault.

ABS light handbrake light allways on

check to see of you can get any faults from abs control module, if abs control module can not be scanned, check fuses, if fuses ok, it will need an abs control module.

Abs annd brake light stays on

Your brakes would require some testing because there are a couple things that could go wrong that would give you a hard pedal. With regards to your abs light and handbrake light staying on you should get your codes read to give you more info. But they share a common fault. One of the reasons they could both be on is because your skid control ECU is faulty. Otherwise it could be two separate issues.
