Question about 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Coupe
The cable is broken. We need to pop the hood without the cable.
Only two ways to go about it, maybe 3 if you have an axe. Get another car just like yours, park it next to your car, look closely at the mechanism that releases the hood, see if you can poke a piece of stuff wire in there through the grille to pop the hood. If not, can you reach up inside the motor comp and grab the cable that comes from the latch, give it a good yank if you can, it might pop, after all that, get the axe, only kidding. My daughter's mustang had a hole for the wire to go into and it popped open. For some reason I couldn't get it to do it again, hope this helps.
