Look on your drive, are you starting your own slick, cos the US govt will bill you.....but if you are burning oil BP would like to hear from you...and you would have put so much smoke into the air, birds would need radar to see, otherwise look under the hood and see if you have a leak etc...and get back to us.

Either a big leak or the engine is burning the oil. if burning that much oil you will see blue smoke from tailpipe

Losing oil in 2002kia spectra cant find leak

its hard to believe that you put 3 quarts today and by tomorrow you don't have it any more, if you don't see the oil in the floor, you should see it coming out the muffler as fumes or burn oil.

How to change oil filter on a 1994 honda accord

Just turn the filter counterclockwise until you remove it. You may need a filter wrench if it was put on too tight. Once you remove it wipe the mounting surface with a clean rag. Now apply a light coating of oil to the new filter gasket. Install the filter tightening clockwise until it makes contact with the mounting surface. Turn it 3/4 turn after it makes contact. No more and no less. Now drain out all the oil, replace the drain plug, tightening to 20 lb/ft of torque, and then pour in 4.5 quarts of 10w30 premium oil of your choice. Start the engine, check for leaks, and you have saved some money. Be sure to set the parking brake, put the trans in park or reverse if manual, and use jack stands when you jack up the car to remove the filter and drain the oil.

1994 Honda Accord LX Sedan just started overheating/losing coolant. The engine also idles terribly rough and has for a while now and will cut off sometimes if the A/C is on. Ignition components have been...

You got it... most likely the head gasket...

Other symptoms:
1. White smoke out the tailpipe and excessive water dripping out of it.
2. With radiator cap OFF and car running, there will be frequent bursts of steam and water (careful! it may be violent).
3. Oil dipstick will have a "milky" goo ... that's water mixed with oil.
4. Overheating can be alleviated in an emergency by running with a "loosened" radiator cap.

Check cylinder compression to confirm that two adjacent cylinders have low, and nearly the same pressure. That confirms blown head gasket.

Hope this helps!

Automatic transmission keeps losing fluid newly installed

Sounds like it might be leaking through the Torque Converter seal. Easy fix...just sucks having to take the tranny out again.

Just want to know how much oil going in the tranny of a honda accord 1992 automatic

The automatic trans on your 1992 Honda Accord holds a total of 6.4 quarts, and 2.5 quarts on a filter replacement, so the torque converter and the rest of the trans retains about 4 quarts.
