Cars today have the vin in several places, try checking the engine block or the frame some cars even have the vin etched into the window glass. I hope this helps you.

I can't find the VIN stamped any where on 1990 WHGM truck. Missing from door frame, Diesel motor 450 horses with 9 speed transmission. Need inspection for title change

Located in the left drivers side of dash. Look through the windshield under inspection sticker. If not there you have a stolen vehicle. Very strange removed from door panel

Location of all vin numbers on chevy aveo 2006?

If you just need the vin number (since your car is stolen) you can locate it on the title of your car.

As for where it is on the car itself, the vin number is located on the upper left hand corner of the instrument panel and can be seen through the windshield.

Hi I need to locate the vin number on a 1997 kia sportage. I cannot locate it on the chassis

The vin number should be located on the driverside at the bottom of the windshield. Looking from the outside of the car on the driverside you should see it through the windshield. Hope this will help you.

What is a car chassis number

That is the same as your VIN. It is usually located on the dash and can be seen throught the windshield, or you can read it from your title/ownership.

I have lost the only key to my car a 2002 hyundai elantra, how do i go about getting the code so that i can have another one made

Most dealers should be able to get you a key with your car's vin (vehicle identification number). You will need to provide proof of ownership (they can't sell keys to anyone asking). Your vin can be found on your registration, title, or visible on the dash, looking from outside thru the windshield.Good Luck countrycurt0

Celica convertible 1985 WIN NUMBER

I think you are looking for the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number). If this is right and there was a translation or typing error then here are a couple of other locations for the VIN besides the engine. It can be found on a plate on the driver's side door and on a plate on the dash in the lower corner of the windshield on the driver's side.
