I have a rubber bleeder tube hanging from forward transfer case.

I have a '93 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I have an approx. 24" rubber bleeder tube hanging from forward transfer case. Where does the other end attach to? Is it a vent to / from somewhere?

If its about 1/4" inside diameter and a soft hose that attaches to the differential or axle tube, it's the vent for the diff. It is usually tucked up against the firewall near the master cylinder and is supposed to have a small vent cap (small but open shield) on it. Just tuck it back up there and secure it with a tie wrap so it doesn't drag and it will be fine.

My 2000 jeep grand cherokee says it is in part time 4wd when it is in 2wd how do I get it from saying it's in part time 4wd?

With the style of transfer case you have, just make sure your 4x4 shifter is matching
the gate to the transfer case detent, if ok, there is a mux switch sensor
mounted on top of transfer case, drivers side, replace the sensor, moisture
has ruined it, you will need to lift the vehicle up and drop the rear cross
member, use a floor jack, let hang enough to get your hand up there
and replace the sensor.

How do I switch to 4x4 on a 93 jeep cherokee

Answer depends on which transfer case you have in yours. If the shifter for your 4wd has 2high( that's 2 wheel drive) as first position, you pull the lever back one notch and thats 4high (in 4wd) All the way back is 4 low (only used in very deep snow or pulling heavy loads, under 15mph) If you have two positions, (excluding N)
All the way forward is normal driving position...The transfer case automatically puts itself into 4wd when the rear wheels slip. 4low is as above, used so infrequently that most times you may find that the linkage is partially frozen (if so, spray with solvent and gently work shifter till it frees up)
Though it's not in the instructions, I find it's best to take your foot off the gas and select positions while rolling. It's just easier on the gears.

Hi I have a jeep grand Cherokee 2.7crd when I put it in forward drive or reverse it slips we have put another transfer box in and it's still the same can anybody help thanks

if ur referring to a transfer box then r u saying transfer case the transfer case has nothing to do with the vehicle pulling in two wheel drive but if ur referring to transmission then it sounds like the clutches are slipping or the torque converter is bad

On the back of the case you should see a round tag. The numbers you are looking for are right on there.

My 93 jeep grand cherokee service 4wd switch is on. what does this mean ?

Hey there, The driver info center in the 93 grand cherokee's is notorious for this message. This switch is on the transfer case and its only purpose is to tell that display what 4 wheel drive mode you are in (eg. 2 wheel, 4 wheel high, 4 wheel low, etc.) This can mean the switch bad but is USUALLY cause by a short in the display module itself. This will not affect anything on your Jeep. It is merely for driver information only. This is a very common problem and if you have a 93 in which the display is working at all your are lucky. They are very bad about going completely out over time.
