That is the distinct sound of your CV joint letting you know it needs replacement. When you order your parts, you might as well order for both sides cause its best to change them both out at the same time.

clicking noises when wheels are turning normally indicates worn cv joints
as they come out of the transmission it is possible that the noise is transferring to the box
take it to an accredited drive line specialist shop for a proper diagnosis and quote

Wheel noise

Check to see if anything is around wheel that could be touching wheel while driving. Make sure rim and wheel fender are clean of debris. Possible cv joint failure, but that makes a clicking noise.

Clicking noise from drivers side only when driving

Hi there, this could be your cv joint on that side, a good test is to put steering on full lock and go in reverse, if the noise is there then I would say it's you cv joint, cheers

My vehicle makes noises when i accelerate

98% sure you have an axle problem. Might be wheel bearings depending on the sound. Bad axles will make a loud clicking noise, (click click click in rapid succession, espically while turning or under accleration) while wheel bearings will make a growling sounds.

Clicking noise when turning right on a nissan note

I would check the wheel bearings on the left side first. Just for a dummy check make sure that the cowlings to the wheel wells have not fallen down and rubbing on something. They have plastic tabs that sometimes break and leave something hanging.

My son has a 99 Pontiac Grand Prix, when he's driving it, it's making a knocking noise on the passenger side by the tire. Could it be a suspension or bearing issue?

Try turning the wheel and seeing if the knocking noise gets worse or better.Usually when you get a knocking like that or a clicking when your turning, you need to replace the CV shaft on that side.Sometimes a wheel bearing will make a click but if you jack up the car and can hold the wheel from top to bottom and can wiggle it and feel alot of movement that is the wheel bearing but it is probably the CV shaft making that knocking noise.Good luck

Car make noise, look like is left wheel bearing or transmission. When turn right noise dissapear. When car is risen on stands , noise only when left wheel is turning. It is wheel bearing or transmission...

Check the CV joint that the axle connects to. They make a clicking sound when turning a corner if badly worn. Both CV joints are commonly replaced when one of them goes out.

Sounds like your thinking in the right area. Up on stands or hoist look for ripped boot, and/or movement at joint.
