Question about 2004 Volkswagen Golf

How to change the passanger side head light? I know about the pannel but you cannot access the headlight by removing it like you do on the drivers side. I see what looks like a second access with the wires for the lamp I want to change but can not see how to get it to come lose. Thanks for the help

Dash and tail lights not workjng brake and turn signal on passanger side not working

The dash and tail lights are on two different circuits, and the brake and turn signals are on different circuits, so at least 4 circuits total.
I would start at the headlight switch and check for power on the first two issues.

Change right headlight

Answer I have a 96 Jeep...You just unplug the wire to the back of the headlight. Grab the headlight and pull. There are three snaps two on the bottom and one on the top. I used a little grease on the new snaps. Clean socket and push head light back into place making sure all three snap into place. It took me 15 minutes to complete the drivers side. You have to take the Battery out to get the other wire off the head light on the passanger side. I did not have to use any wrenches to complete this job

CHANGE FRONT HEAD LIGHT?? HELP

1 method is to remove the grill and pull the headlights forward. I don't like this method, because the grill is brittle, can crack or break easily if not done very carefully.

Here's what I do:

Drivers side- I stick my hand down by the alternator and over behind the headlight. Remove the round rubber cover and twist the light out.

Passengers side- I take the top of the air cleaner off, then you have complete access to the rubber covers and bulbs.

5 minute job to do both sides.

Low beam on head light wont work

you may have a blown bulb. Believe it or not, Buick recomends the removal of the front bumper facia in order to remove the headlight assembly to change the bulb. you can however remove the air box where the air filter is located and squeeze your hand in there and change the drivers side bulb. It's allmost imposible to change the passanger side however. Good Luck

F 150 Head light issue

You know the fuse for the high beams is good ( Cab fuse panel fuse # 16 ) and the pass low beam fuse ( cab fuse panel # 26 ).
Might want to check cab fuse panel fuse #28 ( this is the driver's side low beam ).

If this fuse has power on both sides ( with the low beams on ) next you can pull the headlamps, and check for power at the connectors, but depending when the last bulb change took place, I would say you need need bulbs. ( need at least 1 for the high beam out )
Confirming with a meter at the headlamp would be a good idea, before spending the money.

The bulb connector has 3 pins.
Black wire is ground on both sides
Light Green w/ Black stripe wire is high beams on both sides
Driver Lo = Dark Blue w/ white stripe
Pass Lo = Dark Green w/ Orange stripe.

How to change head light bulb toyota corolla 98. Difficult to reach bulb from engine compartment. Do I need to remove all head light assembly to change the bulb?

no!!!! its difficult, but possible... the headlights have a rubber cover over the wiring harness. pull it off, un plug the harness, and there is a metal wire bracket, hard to explain, if you check out the driver side first (easier to access) the other side should be a breeze. hope this helps

How to change the headlight on a honda civic si, need to change the light bulb, but can not get the headlight off.

It's been awhile since I've dealt with that particular model, but similiar models that were close to the same year didn't require the removal of the headlight. Access to change the bulb was obtained from the rear of headlight by squeezing clips together and turning at the same time counterclockwise (don't know how much access you'll have though on battery side). After that locking plastic holder is removed (assuming already unplugged b4 turning that is) slightly turn with minimal effort and should come right out.
