Question about 1998 Volkswagen Beetle
You can spray some WD-40 on the throttle linkage under the hood. Also you might spray some on the throttle cable itself, the cable could be sticking. The inside of the throttle body and throttle plate could have carbon build up and may need cleaning with some Gumout.
