You may need a vehicle speed sensor that is located on the transmission which you can see by looking down towards the passenger side of the transmission housing.. it sticks straight up with a wire connector attached to it. it usually takes a 10 or 11 mmm wrench to remove it. hope this helps, please leave comment.

My eletric speedometer doesmt work in my buik limited regal

Pretty much all car speedometers built since the mid 1980's are electric. Do you mean that your vehicle is equipped with a DIGITAL speedometer?

If so, when you say it doesn't work, do you mean it does not light up at all? or do you mean that it lights up and just says "0" all the time?

If the needle isnt stuck and all the other dash instruments work, i recommend checking the fuses and relays, also, check with the local auto salvage yards, they might be able to help with replacing your defective speedometer cheaply. hope this helps! God Bless
