There is a blend door actuator motor that is not working, the dash has to be removed back toward the seats to access the actuator motor.

You have a dual range HVAC system. It has two blend doors in the HVAC box, and only the blend door for the driver's side is working properly. You will have to troubleshoot, and possibly replace the blend door actuator for the passenger side.

Dual zone AC blows cool on driver side and warm air on passenger side.

Suspect a problem with a blend door motor/actuator.The door for the cool/warm air is not being operated correctly. It can be an electrical or vacuum issue depending on what type of motor/actuator is being used. Have a professional look at it as these motors/actuators can be hard to access.

NO COOL AIR COMES OUT THE PASSENGER SIDE VENTS, ONLY HOT AIR

I'll just take a wild step and assume that this is on a GM vehicle, SUV or truck most likely.

Your problem is what is referred to as the blend door actuator. Its a little electrical motor that rotates a little door that mixes hot and cold air. The passenger side one is bad. You probably also hear an annoying little "ticking noise" from beneath the dash on start up or power up. That is the blend door being stuck. Good luck!

Passenger side if heating system blows cold air

blend door motor is bad or blend door is stuck. You will need to remove most of the dash to access it...not a beginners job.

AC unit blows cold on passenger side and warm on driver side.

Hi,
There are separate blend doors for the passenger and driver's side. The blend doors divert, not block air, so it is unlikely that the blend doors are the problem. You need to check the operation of the re-circ door.
There may be some more duct work that attaches to the heat/air conditioning housing under the dash, that supplies air and or heat to both the driver side and passenger side of the car, the duct work on the driver side may have come disconnected.Check this also.
Hope this helps
Thanks
Smith.

Passenger ac vent cools and driver side ac vent do not

It sounds like a heater blend door issue inside the heater box that is actually not closing all the way to allow either cool or hot air or visa/versa.

yes it is called the blend door, you either have a sticking blend door or the actuator motor for the door is defective and does not completely shut off the heater core. The pass side has it's own blend door.

It should be the blend door motor on the drivers side. The dealership should carry them in stock for around $190.00.
