Question about 1998 Lincoln Continental
I Have a 1998 lincoln continental the doors wont lock. but they open with the keypad and the inside button. any solutions
It sounds like the key cylinder, in the door, has become frozen. You can try putting some powered graphite or penetrating oil into the key hole and work it free. Or take the door panel off and replace it.
If you decide to replace parts then do yourself a favor and remove the panel first. Inspect all related parts and make sure it is the key cylinder and not the door latch or something else.
