This could be result of a malfunctioning accelerator - the accelerator on these cars is a "drive by wire" ssytem and sometimes need to be replaced. I had the same thing happen on my Sonata.

What is the torque settings for a mitsubishi colt hiline 2.0i cylinder head?

There is no torque value. Commonly, Head bolts are tightened and then removed in sequence as you step threw 3 values: 23/33/45 ft lbs then the final value is achieved by rotating the bolts 90 degrees so the final value is unknown.

You have to get either a hayes manual or follow a procedure online if you are replacing the head gasket. If you are not replacing the gasket do not "re-torque" the head bolts thinking that you can fix a head gasket leak.

Waterpump leaking

NO the leak is a clear indication that the water pump seal or the rubber bellows has failed and any stop seal will be moved out of the way by the action of the spinning shaft. Replacing the pump is the fix required.

Overheat after waterpump replacement

Did you change the thermostat? If not it may be the cause. You can check the thermostat by removing it and immersing it in hot water. If it is working it will open. The thermostat is usually located under the upper radiator hose.

Slight coolant leak, unknown location, seems to b coming off main belt, leaving spot in driveway and various locations under hood

Probably from the waterpump, there should be a little hole under it behind the pulley. It is there incase the pump seal leaks. Rub your finger around it to see if it is wet. Otherwise a the top hose may be leaking on the engine end. Do the same finger trick.

Over heating

Common causes for over heating are listed below:
  1. Lack of coolant
  2. Leaking radiator (usually on a seam)
  3. Leaking coolant line (usually but not always around the fitting)
  4. Bad thermostat - prevents sufficient coolant from entering the system from the reservoir
  5. Bad waterpump (will usually leak but not always, can be bad waterpump bearing)

I have a 3.8l grand caravn and it's leaking antifreeze from the part that the lower rad hose is conected to. i'm assumeing that it's the water pump.

THAT SOUNDS CORRECT! THE WATERPUMP HAS WHAT IS CALLED A WEEP HOLE! IT IS LOCATED ON THE BOTTOM OF THE WATERPUMP! IF THAT IS LEAKING, THE WATERPUMP WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED!

Coolant is leaking ,i have to fill it everyday.hardly any heat. what can i do? it seems like its shooting the coolant out somewhere on the right side of the motor.

It's probably the waterpump, it's right where you describe. They are pretty cheap and easy to do so even if you have a shop do it, it should not cost that much. Have it repaired before the engine is damaged from over-heating.
