Hi, on my 02 Land Rover Freelander HSE, my air con/ heating fan has completely stopped working - Any ideas on what it could be?

ck your heater fan fuse first , that might have 2 places with fuses for that , if they are not blown look for maybe a relay for it also , next see if you are getting power to your heater fan if you are then you fan will need replaced but I really never seen a fan go unless there was something stopping it from turning keep e posted

Blower fan not working.

Possible speed control is open circuit or the fan motor. Check you have supply to the switch/motor.

Unplug the fan on sensor. It should have one green wire and one black wire. Use a paper clip and jump the two wires. Turn the key to the run position, the engine does not need to be running. Does the fan come on? If not check the green wire for 12 volts and the black wire for ground. If there is no ground than run a new ground wire. If the is no power check the heater/air conditioning fuse in the under dash fuse block. If there is power and ground make sure both the cooling fan fuses are good and both the cooling fan relays are good.

I am unable to defrost my windshield or heat the car interior as the fan suddenly stopped working. Checking the fuses, none are specifically labeled for the fan. I took a few out to check, but all look ok....

you should check the fan blower module. it is normally located under the passenger side dash, it is just a small circuit board that has resistors on it, they sometimes melt off. this could be the problem. or the blower might be stuck or broken

I have a 2007 H3 hummer, suddenly my fan does

It's the HVAC blower resistor in the air plenum under the glovebox. New resistor and wiring harness is about $70 at the Hummer Dealer.

if the fan is electrical check if the thermo switch for the correct heat range if the fan is mechanical driven chec if the visscous coupling is working correctly.for your turn signals you need to check if all globes are working and check if the flasher unit is also working and check if all fuses are ok

94 tracer problem

not sure about the popping thing, but about the fan, try hot wiring the fan motor to the battery to make sure the motor is not burnt out. could also be a relay or a fuse link. I'm working on a 95 and having trouble locating the fuse links. I replaced my radiator fan motor, thermostat was busted, dropped new fuses in and a relay. Still no fan action. Mine must be a fuse link. If you are lucky it will be something quick to diagnos. Good luck.
