It leaks between the red lens and the black or grey back. You can either buy a new lens or remove the old one after removing bulbs, drain it and put a thin layer of rtv (caulk) around the seam

2002 dodge ram 1500 brake and parking lots went out

Both. If the running lights ( marker, tail, clearence, or parking) and brake lights are out since the rain, a tail light assembly is broken and filling with water enough to create a short to ground. If there's no broken lens, whitch normally only blows the bulb. Then, the problem lyes in the trailer light harness. the brown wire (tail) & green wire (left turn/brake or yellow wire (right turn/brake) must be bare exsposed that shorts to ground when wet. all the trailer wires could be smashed together damaged the plastic coating on them. no problem till water shorts to ground. The white wire is the ground wire make its not able to touch the other 3 wires or bare & wet. Tape wires seperate then replace tail/mkr fuse and brake fuse. That should do it.

Trunk leak-cant find the rear drains from sunroof

If water is in the trunk, then it is probably getting in through the rear tail lights. Common problem with early 90's Honda cars. To check, hose down the trunk area and tail lights, then look at the gaskets from inside the trunk. You'll probably will see some water. To fix, you need to take each tail light out and place a seal of silicon caulk between the body of the car and the tail light gasket and replace the tail lights. This should solve your water in the trunk problem.

Sparewheel well fills with water

Either a trunk seal or tail light is most likely the issue. Dry the area out and run a hose over the trunk, while trying to say away from the tail light. Then do the same with the tail light, this should let you know where your leak is coming from

The left rear tail light housing gets filled with water every time it rains. We don't know how the water is getting in. Any solutions?

The gasket between the light assembly and the body is a poor design and lets water into the housing when it rains hard after it dries out after a few years. Taking the lights off and replacing the gasket or adding sealant may help. I drilled a small hole in the bottom of each plastic housing for the water to drain out and resealed the lights too. Any water that gets in drains out the tailgate drain holes. Problem solved.

My 2002 Buick rendezvous back tail light has is filling with water. I see droplets but can't tell how to stop it.

remove the entire light assembly and put silicone around all seams - not too many where the light bulb gets replaced - that should seal it -

also call the local dealer -- with the VIN number and ask about recalls
