A good scan tool can unlock the radio,That is the only way unless you get an unlock code using the "vin number of the car the radio came out of " from the dealer.
I would take a close look at the connections in the power distribution box , also look at the door switches. most likely will find a loose connection coming into the power distribution box.
depends on what radio you have if it is fitted to the radio. some are others there is a compartment near to the radio that is for the gps. you will find it by looking were the signal line is on the window or roof depending on model.
Get the passcode out of the owners manual, if not there the back or top of the radio, if not there then call the dealer and give em vin to get the code.
The radio most likely went into lock mode as this happens when there is a power interuption as when battery goes dead. Have your dealer unlock radio as they may have to hook up to computer or give you unlock code as I donot know which model of radio you have.
I am assuming the changer is part of the radio. You try removing the negative cable from the battery and reconnecting it to see if that resets the problem, but unfortunately, the dealer is probably right - not much else you can do.
The remote is probably bad - Take it to AutoZone and ask them to test the radio frequency of the remote. If it is bad you will need to get a new one - if not - remote control door lock receiver in vehicle is bad...and will need to be replaced and reprogrammed - you need to have special tools to reprogram the remote control door lock receiver.
first be sure that its the engine light and not the "service" light. the service light will usually illuminate if its time for an oil change. if its the service light ur owners manual should tell u how to reset it. if its ur engine light then try disconnecting ur positive battery cable for 1 minute. that should reset ur ecm and get rid of the engine light. if the engine light comes back on then have a diagnostic scan done to determine whats causing it.
