Question about 2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

2 Answers

I have a 2005 Monte Carlo LS, I have had this car for a couple years now and haven't had to do much to it but now it seems to drift on the highway, seems like the steering is messing up or something, I heard that it could be the struts, what do you think?

Have your tire's check, if you rota the two front tire's from left to right keep them in the front or go to a tire shop where they can do this for you, go on a road test, if your car start's to pull the other way and your tire's are still good rota your tire's from front to rear you'll be ok, good luck, hope this was very helpful.

2001 monte carlo ls 3.4 overheats!! replaced everything

You have to bleed the air out of the system. There are 1 maybe 2 bleeders on the front of the engine on the cooling system bypass pipe one near the upper hose the the othe on the drivers side of the pipe. They are brass with a small bleeder valve in the middle. Get the car up to temperature and take your time to allow all the air out. Refill cooling system after it cools. Hope you didn't do any damage running it hot.

My 2005 monte carlo is having trouble starting why?

You dont say how many miles are on the car.If you have 30000 miles the fuel filter must be replaced and every 30000 miles. I can hardly blow through mine after 30000.The gas stations have lots of dirt in their storage tanks.I also add a bottle of STP fuel treatment (red bottle) to consume the condensation (water) that forms in the gas tank.I do this about 4-5 times a year. Also the air filter needs to be kept clean.
I bought the 2001 Monte and now have 175000 miles and still get 34.5 mpg highway.
You must replace the spark plugs at about 75000 miles.
I drop the trans pan and install a new filter and then add new oil at every 35000.
I hope this helps you.

2005 supercharged monte carlo has very little heat.

170 is ok, this should provide excellent heat output, your problem is one that is common on many newer car, it is caused by the air temp control blend door actuator motor, I hate this system because it is prone to failure and requires the removal of the dash to repair/replace the part.
