Yes it can be...just replace the heater core:

  1. Drain the cooling system.
  2. Remove the heater unit assembly. Have a lot of towels handy for the leakage of coolant that may spill into your interior.
  3. Remove the fasteners securing the core to the unit, remove the plates and clamps. Pull upwards to remove the core from the unit.
To install:
  1. Inspect the core fins for any blockage. Using compressed air, clean them.
  2. Install the core into the unit placing the plates and clamps into position. Tighten the core screws.
  3. Install the heater unit into the vehicle.
  4. Fill the cooling system

I have a 2000 Ford Escort zx2 and I have transmission fluid going into my radiator and my car won't move, how do I fix that?

The transmission cooler has broken inside of your radiator. You will either have to replace the radiator or add a cooler. (I would replace radiator) flush cooling system and I would also do a transmission service just in case the antifreeze leaked back into the transmission while not running. NOTE:Your transmission level would be down do to it pumping into the radiator cooling system. Fill transmission to proper level running and see if it wants to work, before replacing radiator as you could have damaged the transmission by letting it run out of ATF.

How is coolant fluid leaking into my transmission?

The auto transmissions have lines to the radiator, the core might have cracked and leaks to the transmission line that flows to and from it.

!998 Ford Expedition Oil pumping into radiator

If there is no oil cooler inside the radiator, the most common cause is a leaking intake or head gasket.

Radiator

Look for signs of coolant leakage on the garage floor, driveway or ground under your vehicle. Check the level of coolant in the overflow reservoir or inside the radiator by removing the radiator cap. The engine must be cool before the radiator cap can be safely removed. Inspect the radiator to find where it is leaking. There may be an obvious hole or other defect that is easy to spot, such as deposits of coolant and an orange or green discoloration. You can refer this link http://www.buyautoparts.com/radiators.htm to learn about radiator.

It is geting water inth air and ventilation system and throw it ina the cab

It's most likely a heater core leak. Hot radiator fluid is passed through the inside of the heater core, and air is passed over that. if there is a pin-hole leak in the radiator core, then it will come out of the vents. Turning off the heat setting will not change the leak either, it will still leak and collect in the lowest spot, and then blow out the vents when it strikes the fan impeller blades. the heater core is fed from 2 smaller radiator hoses. If you look under the hood, you'll see 2 large hoses that come out of the radiator. you'll also see 2 smaller hoses that go back towards the front of your car through the firewall. these 2 little hoses go to your heater core. Most cars require dash removal to change out the heater core. Unless you are pretty handy, I'd leave this one to the shop.

I changed the thermostat, water pump but it still overheats

The mechanic should check on the radiator and the radiator fan .Also check the cooling fins of the radiator if the cooling fins are worn out then replace them. You should also check if there is a leak in the radiator and then repair the radiator .The radiator fan ,check it also if the the pulley of the fan is working and if not then replace it or repair it.And the engine oil should be check if the engine oil is dirty or diluted then change oil because of sometimes dirty or diluted oil can cause engine over heat.

Why is the transsmition oil and water are mix together

The Transmission oil passes through the radiator to keep it cool , If the pipes inside the radiator are damaged then water can enter into the trans lines causing the problem you are having.
Get the radiator checked and repaired/replaced...
Also get the Trans fluid changed as water can damage the trans internals.
Hope this helps.

I have oil in radiator ,transmission slips

Does the oil in the radiator look reddish? likely it does...You most likely have a failure inside the radiator where the trans cooler coil runs through it. Replace radiator and have trans fluid changed and flushed. If slipping continues trans will need a rebuild. (hope not)
