There is definately a wiring reconect issue here. I would say that most likely you have the positive and negative connections at the starter solenoid reversed.

1994 pontiac sunbird;i turn key on everything inside works.turn key over i get nothing

could have faulty starter or starter solenoid.hook test light make you a test light with longer wires and 12 volt bulb with socket go junk yard find good bulb with socket.hook test light to starter and see if test light lights up if so your starter or starter solenoid has a open winding. if test light dont light up could have blowed fuse to transmission neutral switch or neutral switch could be bad.try to start vechicle in neutral if vechicle starts your transmission neutral switch out of adjustment or neutral switch faulty check make sure wires going to neutral switch is damaged.

IF STARTER RELAY BAD THE STARTER WONT MAKE NO NOISE AT ALL HEADLIGHTS WONT DIM.IF YOU CLICKING NOISE BATTERY VOLTAGE TOO LOW. MAKE SURE BATTERY VOLTS ARE 12.6 VOLTS AND USE TEST LIGHT TO SEE IF STARTER GETTING POWER.COULD HAVE BLOWED IGNITION FUSE OR FAULTY IGNITION SWITCH. TO CHECK STARTER SOLENOID FIRST TURN OFF RADIO THEN REMOVE NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE AND POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE.THEN REMOVE STARTER BUY A REMOTE SWITCH.YOU NEED BATTERY JUMPER CABLES HOOK BATTERY JUMPER CABLES TO BATTERY PUT POSITIVE CABLE ON POSITIVE BATTERY POST THEN PUT NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE ON NEGATIVE POST. HOOK BATTERY CABLES TO STARTER USE NEGATIVE CABLE GROUND STARTER BODY AND PUT POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE ON THE LARGE POSITIVE POST ON STARTER SOLENOID. NOW TAKE REMOTE SWITCH HOOK RED WIRE TO STARTER SOLENOID POSITIVE POST THEN HOOK BLACK WIRE TO REMOTE SWITCH TO STARTER SOLENOID SWITCH TERMINAL WITH LETTER S THEN PRESS REMOTE IF STARTER SPINS STRONG WITH A GOOD KICK STARTER GOOD.YOUR PROBLEM COULD BE CORRODED WORN BATTERY CABLES. WEAK BATTERY FAULTY IGNITION SWITCH. IF STARTER DONT WORK WHEN YOU PRESS THE REMOTE SWITCH STARTER SOLNOID BAD OR STARTER ITSELF BAD.IF ALL IS GOOD. CODE SCAN CAR FOR THEFT SECURITY FAULT CODE.

Just replaced starter and battery now it wont start turns over well dont know where to look next any ideas its got spark got fuel and it turns over just wont start

Make sure all the wires are hooked up on the starter and not broke. Also not sure how long it has been since you ran it, but if it has been a while and you live in a cold climate, it could have ice in the fuel line. Follow the fuel rail back to the pressure relief valve, it looks like a big valve stem on a tire. Take a rag and put over it and push it in, in the middle. It should spray fuel out there. Turn your key on and try to listen if the fuel pump is kicking on also.

Hi, I have a 1994 Chevy Cavalier with the 2.2L 4Cyl Engine. We bought it off a private owner and it was running good. We went to autozone to get a new fuel injector because one was leaking, we replaced...

The smaller wires that hook to the big post on the solenoid. These are fusable link wires. It sounds like one is burnt or not hooked up. These feed all the power to the car. Did you hook the grounds to the top of the starter bolt?

It was running fine two days ago now it wont start everbody saying its the starter butthe radio lights come on so it coulndnt be the batterry please do anbody have any reall suggestion

starter different from battery. radio lights come on so the battery has at least enough power to turn on the radio. Does it have enough power to supply minimum voltage and amps to the starter? A whole different story here.
Jump it. If it starts its the battery. If not, check: 1) 60a starter fuse, start relay, voltage at starter when attempting to start with key( two people required) and finally, run 12v directly to starter from known good battery to determine if starter/solenoid is good

1994 Camry wont turn or do anything for that matter

Hello,
The red wire is the starter wire, this is the main wire that connects to your starter switch to tell the relay to turn over that starts your car, the other wires are the ingnition wires, these wires is what allows the vehicle to turn on (lights, radio, engine,)
What it sounds like he did when he removed the alarm module was disconnect the power wire that supplys the starter switch.
Try tracing the wire back to where it is connected and see if there is any wire cut the same way as the other end.
try connecting a a remote starter switch from the battery directly to the starter solenoid. this will allow you to see if the wiring inside the car is disconnected or if it is the starter.

One headlight and all 3 tails stay on when car/switch is off

Since the only thing common to all four is the wiring in the steering collumn that would be the first place to look.
