Question about 2005 GMC Sierra
This is called "limp home mode" and means one of the sensors ahs detected a problem and limits the engine to avoid any further damage, take the car to a garage where is can be plugged into a diagnostic machine which will bea able to read the fault code and tell you what is wrong.
