I have a red exclamation mark light on the dash and I don't have the owners manual to tell me what it mean. Does anyone else have this car with a manual??

That usually means that one or more of your tires has dropped below the level of air pressure that the manufacturer recommends. It is basically a low pressure warning light. This way you will know to find a place to check your tire pressures. Look on your tires sidewall and you will find a cold psi rating and a hot or warm psi rating. The tire pressures need to stay within those parameters in order for the light to not come on. As the tire warms from motion the air inside begins to expand and will read a higher pressure than if the tire is cold. Check your pressures and if any of the tires have a low pressure (below 30 psi) it should be inspected...........Or you may be leaving your emergency brake on. Pull up then push down to release a hand break lever and push all the way down and pull hard on the release lever for a foot brake. Another possibility is the car needs brake pads soon.

Actually the low tire is over by the fuel guage and looks like a flattened tire. The exclamation point is the parking brake.

Thank you for the reply; I actually found a friend with the same minivan and looked in her manual; the light is for the brakes. My husband replaced the brake pads and the light went off.

The exclamation point is the parking brake, not the low tire. The low tire is on the side with the gas gauge and looks like a tire going flat (with a wavy bottom line).

A dash light red with an exclamation mark in it mean

That is likely your "check engine" light. Take your car to your local parts shop, most will read the computer codes for free. The codes will tell you what the computer saw that needs fixing.

It looks like the parking lamp fuse is in the box in the engine compartment marked PARK and the dash light fuse is in the box on the driver side of the dash marked DIMMER. They are two different circuits.

Warning light --Upside down horseshoe with exclamation point

It should be letting you know that you have a tire pressure problem. If you still have the owners manual read it. It will explain what to do, what to look for and how to reset the light if need be.

Normally,,,the exclamation mark in car dash board defines the "Handbrake"...if you pull the hand brake lever up it lights on...sometimes there can be problems with that switch(all time it can be in on)...
