Have the dealer test the body control module with a scanner, it is most likely defective, the test requires a Ford special scan tool called an NGS.

Why wont my Windows roll down when vehicle is on?

There could be a few reason. I am assuming they are power windows. The fuse for the windows could be out, you would just have to check the diagram that comes with your owners manual and see if the fuse is good. You could have a bad window motor. Or the window could be off the track.

2002 mercury mountaineer. Power window won't go up. Can't roll it up with driver control either

THAT SOUNDS LIKE THE MOTOR FOR THE WINDOW REGULATOR HAS GIVE UP ON YOU, YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE THE INNER DOOR PANEL IN ORDER TOO ACCESS THE MOTOR AND TEST IT FIRST TO KNOW IF THAT IS THE PROBLEM, SOMETIMES EVEN THAT IS NOT THAT OFTEN THE PROBLEM IS ONE OF THE SWITCHES, SINCE THE WINDOW WONT MOVE IF ONE OF THEM IS BROKEN INSIDE AND NOT WORKING BECAUSE THE POWER TO THE MOTOR GOES THOUGH BOUGHT BUTTONS
HOPE THIS HELPS

2002 mercury mountaineer on e window not working

All the windows are on the same fuse, if the other windows are working fine, it's not a fuse issue. I susppect the motor or the window regulator.
With your ear close to the door panel, press the window switch up and down, if you hear the motor and grinding noises then the window regulator needs to be replaced, if you don't hear anything then the motor is bad OR no power is getting to the motor. either way you will have to take the door panel off and to fix.

I have a 2004 mercury mountaineer the windows will not roll up or roll down, and the radio does not work is it a fuse?

A bad fuse is Highly possible the cause. The mountaineer has a Main fuse box under the hood that contains Master fuses that control multiole items with one fuse. There is also a smaller fuse panel under the dash conatining fuses for various items throughout the vehicle.

the window regulators may have too much drag. all the windows or just one? after lubing the window regulator and it still drags, the motor for that window will need to be replaced.

I had the same problem with my 2002 Mountaineer at about forty thousand miles. Murcury replaced the steering column free under warranty. I now have ninty two thousand miles and it's back. The rear end is making a whining noise, the tranny is starting to slip, and the rear window regulator went out. Why did we buy a Mercury?????? Disgusted Dave!!!
