Nope....front wheel drive and the rearend is a "floating" rearend....take a look at it from the back and you will see only a small square bar across it....from tire to tire. It basically floats.

How much will a car mechanic charge to change ring gear on fly wheel

It really depends on the car. A rear wheel drive car vs a front wheel drive car. An all wheel drive car vs a 4 wheel drive car.(There can be a difference) But lets be general. A basic rear wheel drive might cost $800. while a front wheal drive car might be a $1200- $1500 charge. Of course anything over 10 years old and anything exotic will be more.

How to replace front wheel bering

That can vary greatly between vehicle types, models, and years. Front wheel, rear wheel, all-wheel, and 4-wheel drive all matter as well. In order to even begin to assist you we need to know the year, manufacturer, model, body type, and transmission/drive type (2WD/4WD/AWD) of the vehicle.

The indicator light for the four wheel drive stays on when disengaged from four wheel drive

There are sensors in modern AWD / 4WD vehicles and if it is truly disengaged, is probably just a bad sensor. Anyway, without the year, make and model vehicle - it's hard to get into specifics or help from someone that knows which vehicle you're asking abut.

Tod light on in middle

There is nothing wrong with the system. When the TOD is in auto it will only engage the front wheels when the rear wheels lose traction. Newer small SUVs have just the opposite, they are in front wheel drive until they lose traction and then engages the rear. Isuzu was ahead of its time with the TOD system.

My drivers side rear tire locked up while driving in my 84 Nissan Datsun pulsar NC what's wrong

'84 ...*lotsa* miles on it ....like 450K plus if you drive the "normal" 15K/year. First, and most likely, thing that comes to mind is the wheel bearing has seized. Since this is a front wheel drive car, there are sealed roller bearings for the rear wheel hubs. At 450K on the odometer there are *lots* of components that have reached or exceeded their normal service life. I would suspect the left rear sealed wheel bearing is one of them ...followed closely by the right rear wheel bearing. If it's the bearing? Get them both done.

The Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) in this model year have been known to hang up, try pulling fuse #48 (4WD) in the rear fuse panel located under the left rear seat. Reinstall fuse and see if everything works OK, if not, you probably need to replace the TCCM.

Proper installation of rear axle bearings and seals

It really would help to know the model, make, and year, because a front wheel drive care tends to have a simple pair of tapered bearing that are installed in the brake drum or rotor, while a rear wheel drive vehicles can have very different bearings that need press work, depending on if the suspension is independent or solid axle.
