Question about 2000 Acura TL
Check engine light came on and auto-zone check it and stated that i had random misfiring and needed to change the spark plugs. I bought them bosch-iridium-fusion / Spark Plugs (6 in all i receive some helping in changing them) then we rechecked it couple more times. 1st time one of the cylinders were still misfiring fixed that and then stated I needed to change cylinder 1 coil and a throttle body malfunction. I later had went to another auto-zone to check after i noticed my throttle body dirty and loose (don't ask me how idk) and i cleaned it. Auto-zone stated that 2 thru 6 cylinders were misfiring and i needed to change practically all of the ignition coils. To get additional information i went to a mechanic who used his hitech ecm and said i needed a tune up and to change the spark plugs coils etc. The ecm said misfiring on 2 thru 6 cylinder as well. I told him i just got the spark plugs changed and initially just needed to change one coil now all of them? He asked what type of spark plugs i s

See if your car has an ignition control module. They will go bad over time and cause random engine misfiring. Just went thru it with my 2002 Buick LeSabre. 120,000 miles on the engine. Replaced plugs, plug wires and check the coils. It was the ICM.

tcs is (traction control system), it may be also in the (anti braking system )as they go together. have car scanned to find problem.

I would not recommend using lower octane fuel. I did try once with terrible detonation on start up an under load. The damage detonation can cause is severe. Damaged pistons, damaged bearings, etc..
