Mcdevito75 here, That may have been a bad fuse that was changed earlier, before you had the car and was lost a flopped to the gas pedal. Unless you also found a fuse holder for this fuse, check the fuse see if it looks the same as all others in the fuse box. Also check with your local auto repair shop they should help out.
