Question about 1998 Jeep Cherokee
Check your battery terminal connections. In most cases like yours they just need to be removed and cleaned.
Also make sure that the battery has a full 12volts and passes a load test. I can give you more info but likely this will get you going. If not ask, and I'll go further!!!
