Check wheel speed senders clean and correctly adjusted. a wheel speed sender wire could have an internal break. an electronics diagnostic reader will pinpoint the problem as there will be a fault stored in the memory.

Yes. Both lights usually come on when there is an ABS problem detected whereas the brake light will usaully only come on by itself with the hand brake or low fluid.

I followed this example for my '98 and now it works perfectly. I found a shop on eBay to rebuild my module (lifetime warranty) for under $200. It took me about 1 hour to pull it off and about 45 min to put it back on with minimum shop tools
