Remove thw heel, the brake caliper and retaining parts to remove the rotor. Remove the center axle nit. Remove the hub and bearing. Pry the axle out from the trans housing for a snap ring holds it in. It will pop right out if a screwdriver of a thick size is used

Remove and replace power streering pump on a 2001 gran prix

1. Remove the passenger side engine mount, (remember to support the engine with a block of wood and a floor jack) and remove the accessory belt.

2. Loosen the 2 lines coming into the pump, then there are 3 bolts to remove (look at the replacement pump for their locations). Rotate the pulley to line the large hole up with the bolts to remove them one at a time.

Installation is same as reverse, except you have to fill the reservoir and bleed the system by running the car and turning wheel lock to lock repeatedly and check fluid level while doing so.

Just wanna know if an 06 grand prix has rear tie rods

The Gran Prix should come with one of 2 systems and they would be a strut set up or a coil spring and shock set.On these set ups they dont have tie rod ends These are usually held in place by an adjustment arm and a trailing arm. These 2 arms hold the rear axle in its stationary position.I hope that gives you an idea as to the setup of most of your newer rear axles.
