The thermostat will be in the engine. The top radiator hose will go to the housing that houses the t-stat. 2 bolts should hold this in place. Look just under the throttle body. Be sure that the area is cleaned and a light film of black silicone(blue is junk)is used and then re torqued using a 1/4" ratchet and snug down( I say to use the smaller 1/4" ratchet because you stand less of a chance of breaking the bolts). When you go to refill your cooling system with distilled water(helps to keep the cooling system from corroding)and coolant(around 50/50), be sure to turn your heater on to high so it aides in bleeding system.

Follow top radiator hose, it goes directly to thermostat housing. The thermostat is directly under the housing.

How to replace the thrmostat in honda odyssey 1995?

The termostat is easy to locate and replace on any car. What you need to do is look for the TOP radiator hose and follow it back to the engine block. Where it ends you will see this hose clamped to an inlet pipe which is bolted to the engine's intake manifold. Remove the two bolts that hold this inlet pipe in place and there you will find the thermostat. Ypu can buy a repalcement thermostat at any auto parts store. To install the new thermostat, simply do the reverse procesure described above. a new thermostat will cost about $5.

Please remember to rate my solution. Thanks!

1996 ford aerostar van is leaking small amount of antifreeze heater is taking longer to heat could it be the thermometer if so where is it located

I assume you mean the thermostat.

Look for a large hose running backward from the radiator. Where this hose reaches the engine, it will be attached to a metal piece. The thermostat should be inside this. There are usually two bolts holding this part to the engine.

Cant find the thermostat on a 93 honda accord

the thermostat is located at the end of the bottom radiator hose where it connects to the engine. You need to disconnect the air filter housing tube and 3 hoses. One water and two vacuum hoses. Two horizontal bolts disconnect the housing that holds the thermostat. The factory thermostat is 172.4 degrees F. or 78 degrees C. During installation make sure air bleeder hole (very small, looks like a loose rivet)in the thermostat is up. It is relatively easy to do. Hope this info is helpful.

My engine runs hot sometimes, I think it is the thermostat.

If you follow one of your main (thickest) hoses usually from the top of your radiator, to the top of your water pump it should go from rubber to a metal housing and two to three bolts holding it down. Remove the bolts and the thermostat should be right inside the metal housing. Use a flat head screwdriver to pop the thermostat out and apply some high temp. silicone install new one and your done.
