Are you loosing fuel or spark when it stops running ?

My 2002 Chevy Suburban will start but not stay running and the Remote locks sudenly do not work either what could the problem be?

Without more information, it's impossible to be sure, but it sounds like your security system module has failed, and it is in "lockout" mode, where it will shut the fuel pump off after a few seconds in order to disable the vehicle (thinking it's being stolen).

2003 chevy suburban z71 shows car with padlock just changed fuel pump wont start

If you disconnected the battery to change the fuel pump and did not disable the anti-theft feature first, you now know why it wont start. Check the owners manual if you have it, or contact a GM dealer to get the system reset.

Dome light on my 1998 gmc suburban wont shut off

Maybe your door switch button has broken off. Sometimes I bump my dash light dimmer wheel (which also turns on my dome light) and it stays on in my 93 Chevy pickup

could possibly be either cam position sensor or the crank position sensor if the fuel pump doesnt read the signal from them it will not start

check airflo sensor or potentometer,throttle pos sensor; if revs are to low when turning the wheel the power steering pump will draw power from engine, causing your other problems

There is a very good possibility it could be a fuel issue, you can perform a fuel pressure test on it by simply buying a test gauge from your local autoparts store, also a good chance of an ignition module(which controls spark) has failed.I hope I could help.
