If you mean the very front, you either have a hose leaking or it is the radiator itself

2002 Expedition heating

have you checked the coolant level? also the hoses after the engine has been running for a while should be more than warm, they should be hot. the in hose should be so hot you can not hold on to it for long.

you may have a plugged heater core, try removing hoses to front and rear units and use a water hose to flush, do this good, start withfront one stick hose on one hose and see what comes out the other end of the core, then which to other end of the core, you may need a small hose about 3ft to slide onto heater core end to then put hose nozzle on the other end of small hose then hit handle to force water through. do this to both cores.

Have water coming out of drain in front of the heater core.also over heats loosing coolant.

If the water is clear no problem if it looks like anti-freeze your heater core is leaking the over heating could be from the lack of coolant from the leak but make sure to look closely at the intake manifold at either end as well

1999 SL: 1999 SL2 has no heat. Possible causes?...

When the car is warmed up, feel the hoses going to the heater core. If one is warm and the other cold you have a blocked core. If they are both warm, you may have deposits built up in the core preventing heat transfer between the coolant and the core. What i have done with some success is run a garden hose into one end of the core, rinse for a while then run hose into the other end, this may blast the core open or could burst it. Leave some slop around the garden hose, do not fix it firmly or clamped onto the heater core opening. Please note that when you run water into one end of the core, water is going to come running out the other end so be prepared for splashing water. You may end up buying and installing a new core, do not get a used one.

My 318i ran out of water, and filled it back up, and now i only have heat coming from the passengers side blower, what do i need to do?

get your front end up in the air fill up with water the bleed the sysytem through, now it can be tricky on theese cars so make sure you repeat this process a few times start by forcing water throught your system un screw the bleen niple next to the radiator cap untill just water comes through then close off the niple, no get your car up to temp bring up the revs a little and massage the water pipes to help release any air then open up the nipple again until nothing but water runs out, repeat this untill your happy n ya cooking with gas ;-)

1996jeep cherokee have no heat, just blows cold air

The heat exchanger inside the car may be blocked or the heater tap might not be working. In the engine bay on the rhs of the motor is the heater tap.Get a friend to move the heater control from inside the car whilst you look for it.The hoses are easy to get off if need be.2 hoses go into the car to circulate hot water. These are the ones you may need to flush or backflush.I hope this helps

well usualy that means your heater core went out and it needs to be replaced. tyr the heat and if there is no heat then have heater core replaced. if you have heat and its not the heater core then it could be the passenger door weather stripping
