Question about 1998 Ford Ranger SuperCab
The clutch pedal stays down on the floor after running for about 1 hour, seems to be ok when cold, but will return up if it is jarred by pressing on it quickly several times with your foot and the vehicle out of gear. the clutch has a high pedal engagement and proberly needs a new disc, but dosen't slip yet. what causes the pedal to stay down?
YOU DO NEED A NEW DISC AND MOST LIKELY A MASTER AND SLAVE HYDRAULIC CLUTCH CYLINDERS, THE STICKING MAY BE DUE TO OVER TRAVEL DUE TO THE WORN OUT DISK.
