Heater gets cold when i stop accelerating

The coolant is probably low. Check that first, if it is full then the water pump is probably worn and not pumping effectively any more.

1996 Saturn SL, Heater fan runs fine but no heat. Starts with a tad of heat then blows cold. Any ideas?

The plenum may be cracked, check for air blowing out where it should not, or the blender door is not opening, a cable sheath may have popped loose, or the heater core itself is clogged with leaf debris blocking air flow..

I hear water rushing through heater coil when cold and the fan is off. There are no leaks in antifreeze. I own a 2001 saturn sl-1. The water noise is pretty loud and happens in spurts.

make sure the car is hot and the expansion tank is 1/2 full, as you have an air lock in the system, the only way to clear it is to bleed the system by undoing the clip on the highest point, furthest away from the reservoir.when car is hot will help but be very careful,
water under pressure is hotter than boiling point.make sure you do up the clip so that you can top up in between bleeding.

2001 saturn sl heating when air conditioner is not on

When the A/C is engaged, the thermo fan is also switched on. Check that the thermo fan is turning with the A/C on. If not, there may be a blown fuse, or a damaged wire somewhere.

2002 saturn has no heat, engine heats up very

Sounds like a thermostat problem to start with. Follow the top rad. hose to the engine. You will have to bleed the system of air after.

98 Saturn SL AC/cooling fan will NOT work

Do not let this car over heat a blown head gasket will ensue. Locate and replace the fan relay, if that doesn't fix the problem unplug fan and use jumper wires to ground the plug then feed power to the positive side of plug to check fan, if that doesn't work replace the coolant temperature sensor located somewhere near the intake manifold or thermostat housing area.

Heater not working

I would check if your vent to the outside is open. If it is I would check the vacum hose that controls the vent to open and close.
