1 Answer

My 2009 subaru forester has 35000 miles on it. The temp light was blinking on and off randomly last week but now it is on constantly. Could the thermostat need replacing? I was under the impression that subaru thermostats last for years

The light flashing could be a simple "low on coolant or water". You may want to replace you reservoir cap, you will lose water over time if these go bad.
