Check the Starter Solenoid mounted near the battery.Check it out in the dark...have someone try to start it and see if it sparks at the solenoid.connections may be loose. Also check/wiggle wiring harness to starter.

You need to establish that you have 12v in the battery and that all connections are clean and secure. Lights horn etc do not give you voltage verification...your starter uses more amperage than anything else in the car. Once you are certain that everything is OK, check for 12v at the small wire on the starter with the key turned to start. If no volts, check the neutral safety switch or clutch switch Then check ignition switch for power in/out.

Either you have poor connections at the battery or starter, bad battery cables or a bad starter. I wouldn't be the first time a remanufactured starter didn't work right out of the box.
