Question about 2000 Dodge Intrepid
I think you meant to say "numb nuts". Let me guess. Never finished high school? Lack of propper grammer and maturity was a giveaway. Get a green card and do us all a favor. Taking a night class in shop machinery 101 or a correspondence course where you buy a degree for $24.99 doesn't make you a professional. You are prolly a glorified ship assistant being **** by ownership at a mechanics wage. Maybe paid the minimum while they keep the difference. No wonder California needs more fruit pickers!!

The fuel filter is most likely a sock type attached to the Fuel pump inside the gas tank itself. To replace it you will have remove the fuel pump assembly. As far as i know there is now replacement sock to be bought however. If you suspect you are having fuel pump problems I doubt it is the Fuel Filter. You need to have the pressure checked at a mechanic and if necessary replace the fuel pump. If your injectors are partially clogged or one or more are not working correctly it will give you the same symptoms as a Clogged Filter.
