Roll down the window all the way. If you have a handle to roll them down, take a pocket flat head screwdriver in one hand and with the other push in the area around the window handle and pry off the "c" clip then remove the handle. There should be a screw that holds the inside door handle and a bolt in the armrest on the door panel. It can be accessed with a ratchet and extension. Once you remove them, grab the bottom left corner of the panel and do a quick, short tug toward yourself. This will release the plastic clips holding the panel in. There are more along the edges and a couple in the center area. Make sure they are all released and pry lightly toward your self and pus up to take the panel off. IF YOU HAVE ELECTRIC WINDOWS AND/OR DOOR LOCKS REMEMBER TO DISCONNECT THEM PRIOR TO REMOVING THE PANEL. To reinstall the panel reverse the procedure and line up the clips on the panel to the holes on the door and hit the panel with the palm of your hand to seat the clips.

Removal of rear door lift hatch interior plastic panel on a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan to push out dent in metal door from the inside.

The rear door panel is secured to the door using screws and clips. The screws will be in the handle used to close the door and there may be plastic plugs in the handle hiding the screws. Once these screws are removed, the handle will come off. Look for any more screws along the panel. If there are more, they will be visible. Once the screws are removed, pull on the panel to release the clips that secure it to the door. These clips will require some force to release them and will make a snap/pop sound once released. You may have to put a screwdriver/wedge between the panel and door to start the process of releasing the clips

How to remove dent from back door?

Mainly would depend on type of veh. and dent ,just bowl shape or creased line dent that wasn't here B4 so after inteior door panel removed and access to outside body skin is possible . This is where you could push dent using only soft material tools to back and to push with . If dent is bubble shape 5 - 10 inches you can puchase rubber suction puller or stronger glass transport suction tool and pull it out on exterior panel itself.

Big dent in drivers side door, window won't go down. I don't want to pay someone to fix it. Can I remove the door panel from inside to bang it out?

Yes you can. Just do it with steady force and not hitting or kicking it. The glass might break. I would get a few pieces of wood to use as a toolhead. There should be several slots in the doorframe to get a 1/2 inch extension through or use a 3/8 inch drive.

Then place the extension on the block of wood ( a depression in the wood will help) and then apply force to your end of the extension. You can use another piece of wood to save your hands when you push. Gradually press the doorskin away from the door cavity.

I use this method to pop small dents and it should work for you.

I hope my solution is very helpful in solving your problem.

Door panels are one of those things that when you suffer through doing it the first time, you find that it really is an incredibly easy job. The trick is finding out how to do it the first time. . Door panels are held be snap connectors. You would do well in going to the parts place and buying a door panel remover tool. Without this tool, you will invariably ruin the pressboard material around a few of the snaps. A large screwdriver will do, but still, it is an iffy proposition. . Find all the screws in the handle (often behind plugs) pop the snaps with the tool, hold the panel away from the door metal some, and yoink it in an upward direction. It will life UP. Careful with any wiring. Electric windows will need to be disconnected first. (Remove the control panel by often prying up. Careful.) Manual windows will need the handle removed - often done by sliding the snap loop off of it. It is located between the handle and the door panel itself. . An alternative way - if the dent is an "oil can dent" is to use the big suction cups that some body shops have. If the dent is creased in any way, you'll need to remove the panel. Good luck.

Back door panel removal

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls
