The 1st thing u need to do here is have a electronic engine control fault code test run, this will ID the engine cylinder(s) that are causing the problem, then it is a matter of testing to see what the misfire is being caused by, the fault code test gives you a place to start looking, Autozone and Kragen auto parts do this test for free, so get it run.

ENGINE MISSING CAN BE CAUSED BY MANY THINGS.IF FUEL INJECTORS AND SPARK PLUG + WIRES IS GOOD.YOU HAVE PROBLEMS IN COILS COULD BE WEAK ENGINE WITH LOW COMPRESSION CYLINDER AND VACUUM LEAK AT INTAKE MANIFOLD.TRY CHANGING FUEL FILTER HAVE CAR SCANNED FOR FAULTY MAF SENSOR - BAD EGR VALVE - FAULTY TPS - ECT SENSOR AND FAULTY 02 SENSOR SCAN IT TOO SEE IF ANY OF THOSE SENSOR IS BAD.IF ALL SENSORS CHECK OUT GOOD.I WOULD HAVE A COMPRESSION TEST DONE ON ENGINE.A MECHANICAL FAILURE WILL CAUSE ENGINE MISS BURN OUT VALVES. WORN CAMSHAFT LOBES AND WORN OUT PISTON RINGS.

When your driving the car hesitates sometimes real bad and sometimes a little bit and when the car is idleing the engine hesitates a little bit

that can be anything from a bad spark plug to a bad spark plug wire. check your spark plugs, plug wires, coil pack or packs, and if nothing comes up there your timing blet or chain might have sliped.

Vehicle hesitates when you accelerate .

make sure you have the correct spark plugs(2)check the throttle position sensor on the car,as most people would be driving about with the throttle on the floor car feels fine.but as in normal driving anyone only uses the first half of the pedal and this is where most wear takes place and sometimes causes hesitation when driving.best of luck.

It sounds like your EGR valve is sticking, the EGR valve position sensor is bad or the EP sensor is bad.
