This is actually done with a special glue which you can get from most Auto Parts stores or Walmart even. Before you re-install the strip your are going to want to remove it completely so you can clean the strip and the mounting area.

How do i get a piece of tape out of my disk player, it stuck in there from i disk i made. could i take out the panel some how and look at it from the top.

If you can see the tape, try using a piece of stiff wire with a strong tape (strapping tape or duct tape) fastened SECURELY to the end otf the wire. Get the sticky side of the tape at the end of the wire onto the sticky side of the tape inside the player; tape sticks to tape incredibly well. Gently pull the offending tape out of the player.

make sure the strip and the door are clean from any dirt and oil use a wax stripper and or bug and tar remover then rinse with warm soapy water dry and let stand for about an hour. then apply a 3M VHB - very high bond double face clear tape - u can check with your local sign shop they can order this and usually get it in a day or two - they may even have a roll on hand you only need enough for the strip. Make sure it is 3M VHB - it is expensive but it works.

Vibrating noise from the dash at higher speeds

I've experienced a rapid frequency vbibration that sounds like it comes from the front left dash. I isolated it as the small plastic molding on the outside of the windshield, just below the windshield. There is a small plastic strip like molding piece that ends near the end of the windshield. I used some double sided foam tape sandwiched between the bottom of the molding and the plastic piece belwo it and that solved the problem. I have had to replace the tape every year or so

The side windshield moldings are your problem. Gm has an updated version but i wouldn't spend the money on them.

There are 5 screws holding the molding on. Remove the molding, clean both the window and the molding with a good glass cleaner. Put a strip of 1/2 inch double sided tape on the windshield edges then install the molding. This should take care of your problem.

Sun visor on 2005 Nissan Murano won't stay up/falls down

go to a dealership with a screwdriver and your broken sun visor in hand. take out a nissan murano with an interior that matches yours for a test drive and perform a switch on the sun visors. install your broken visor in place of the one that works, and take the one that works out of the car that your test driving.

Problem solved, its free, and you didn't have to get creative to fix the problem. Plus, they can't blame you for a broken visor considering that they fail in these cars all the time. You're welcome!!!

Exterior door trim

The molding in the middle of the door clips on. Remove interior door panel to access the clips, they usually break off. Or do you mean the black tapes (stickers) around the window opening, they are just stickers. Take a heat gun to loosen glue and peel off.
