How much gear oil does the transfer case on a 1999 jeep grand cherokee

You will need to buy three quarts but you won't use all of it. Make sure that you can open the fill plug BEFORE you drain it to avoid problems. After draining, replace the drain plug and fill with Dexron III or Dex/Mercon (both are automatic trans fluids). Fill on a level surface 'till the fluid reaches the bottom lip of the fill plug. For severe service, I always replace part of the trans fluid with Lucas trans conditioner.

My 1999 Toyota camry makes a rattling noise when in reverse and mostly on inclines. it does not make the noise in the winter but it does when its hot out. Sounds almost as if its coming from transmiss

even with the car a noise can be hard to find.does ti go away with rpms or stay.does motor vibrate hard when this occurs, you need to have a tech ride with you and try to point out noise so can be found .you can ck for loose heat shields and engine trans mounts. the trans car needs to be on drive up rack to ck trans out.

I HAVE A 1999 SATURN WITH A DTC PO340. IT COMES UP AS CAM SENSOR, BUT THE CAR DOES NOT HAVE ONE .WHAT COULD IT BE?

You are correct there is no cam sensor,,,,,the codes sets for secondary ignition problems,,,,like,,old spark plugs and wires with high resistance,,,thats the first thing you change if they are old and you have this DTC,,,next would be the crankshaft position sensor,,that can also cause this code but not as likely as the plugs and wires,,,,,,,,next would be the most expensive to replace is the ignition module,,where the spark plug wires go to by the trans that can set this code as well,,,its a tricky code,,,,try these items and you should be ok
