Question about 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis

1 Answer

My 2008 GM LS sunvisor's lite mirror flaps have broke again. The plastic is obviously too thin and probably the wrong grade. What's the fix. Dealer is going to have to fix it again cause it's still under warranty. What about after warranty.

Would not loose any sleep over it, there is a history on your sun visor for your car and you should still be covered until the issues has been addressed properly. Just make sure your have proper documents to back up your warranty clams for the same repairs.
Thank you for using fixya and address this to the service advisor at your dealer.

ABS, TCS & SCS lights came on all together and won't go away on 2008 Saturn Vue

You have a wheel sensor failed. Likely on the left rear. I have an 08 Saturn Vue and mine has failed repeatedly. First time Jan 09, then again Jan 10.. and once again in Jan 11. Finally dealt with GM Customer Service, as dealer just keeps replacing the sensor. They claim corrosion. GM CS told them to investigate further, so they replaced a connector and sensor this time. Not holding my breath. Thank god for warranty. Will probably end up getting rid of the car.

Blows fuse #22 when you use the sunvisor mirror.

You have probably got a dead short somewhere in the system.  Not often but on a rare occasion when a bulb blows is will cause a dead short.  Look at all the lights that are associated with that system.  Replace the bulbs that are not working or ones that are dimly glowing.  I suspect it may be in the sunvisor or trunk considering those are the two things that are causing you problems
