If you have a 3.3L V6 cylinder engine 01 & 04 are the same radiator's, if it's an 2.4L 4 cylinder engine it will not fit. Hope this was very helpful.

I have a 02 Grand caravan that has new radiator, termostat, one new fan. the temp gauge goes up to max hot the drops right back down in seconds. what could be the problem?

it could be you have an air lock in the cooling system
remove the rad cap from the rad, start the engine and let it run until the coolant drops (add to fill it back up) or until the coolant boils out of the rad spout.

maybe pull the heat sensor. -replace it OR clean it off, reinstall it.

2004 Mazda MPV ES Radiator Replacement

Basicly just follow your nose on this ,remove the fan and cowlings if fitted then the top supports and i dont think their is any on the bottom it just lifts out but watch for the AC rad as it may be bolted to the main rad in some way shape or form ,when refitting fill with water and try it out if ok then a minimum of 50% antifreeze its also a anti corrosion .

How do you get the transmission fittings off the radiator. There are no threads at the ends going into the radiator. I am trying to replace the radiator

you cant get the oil cooler off the rad as its all part of the end case,,,if you fit another rad you need the rad from an auto car to replace it with,,,or you may need to unsolder the end cap off the new rad and solder your end cap on with the oil cooler in it,,,
easer to get the right rad to start with???

Radiator leaking terribly (97 Grand Caravan, 3.8L)

Radiators with plastic top and bottom tanks have a limited life and if they leak it is usually terminal and will probably need to be replaced. Any radiator shop can pressure test your system. Replacement is not a huge job but radiators have become relatively expensive.

I need to replace my radiator is this a complicated procedure for me a novice?

Not at all its very basic With the engine cold remove the lower rad hose and drain the coolant {this can be recycled by straining it with a fine screen {panty hose works fine]remove the top hose and loosen the rad mounts.Make shure the ign is off and remove the rad cooling fan and ac bolts [if fitted].remove the thermostat and flush the system with a regular garden hose until its clean. You should replace the thermostat with a new one [only a couple of bucks but a must do on an older car]
fit the new rad [tip last off -first thing on]and connect the hoses refill and top up your coolant.Start your car and allow to reach normal working [let it idle until the rad fan cuts in and out a few times and hey presto yoy saved yourself money and repaired your own vehicle [well done]

Need procedure to remove/replace radiator on 01 Dodge Grand Carva

This Link is for R&R rad fan assy, but once your there, the rad should be pretty obvious, what else needs to be done. Fan has to come off first anyway.
