You really need to tell what you are driving, but you will need to examine the suspension, and the brake caliper, pads, ect.

Knocking noise on driver side font on 2005 Yukon.

hello,
with out more info it sounds like it could be the drive axle could be going bad if it's a 4x4 or possibly one of the pins holding the brake caliper in place has backed out and rubbing the inside of the wheel. I would also check the wheel bearings to make sure the wheel is not loose and making the noise you hear.

Knocking noise around the front passenger wheel area!?

Do you feel it in the steering wheel? if so it could be the intermediate steering shaft. If not it could be a sway bar link or bushing.

What is the cause of a knocking noise under the driver's side wheel?

If it is coming from the vicinity of the DS wheel, most likely this is due to worn rubber bushings in a suspension component allowing metal to metal contact.

Obviously have it inspected and the cause of the knocking noise located.

Also check the tension on your wheel nuts to ensure the wheel is firmly positioned on the hub.

I hear a single, solid knock sound coming from the drivers side wheel area when i release the brake prdal and accelerate and when i depress the brake pedal and stop, what few things should i look at?

Possible that the brake pads are loose or broken, possible that there is foreign objects on the calipers or it can be a fault on the calipers, loose fitting.
You need to jack up the front whell and remove the wheels to take a look into the brake section, check the steering joints and also the wheel bearings.

Trying to replace a front wheel bearing on a 1994 saturn sl.. How do remove the rotor on the car?

you have to remove the brake caliper first... should have 2 bolts; metric size; dont let caliper hang by the brake line; hang it up out of the way; if the rotor doesnt slide off the hub, then it is corroded on; take a soft-faced mallet and tap firmly ; try not to damage the area the brake pads contact the rotor

I would have your ABS system checked out. If it is just one KNOCK, it could be your ABS starting to engage. If it were pad / rotor problems, it would be a continuous knock until you stopped.

Front driver side suspension knock over bumps

See if you can bounce car and replicate the noise. If you can, you should be able to find it, and put your hand on it. Stabilizer bushing are a place to look, both at the lower a arm and on the frame. If you narrow it down to the strut, it will need to be replaced. The front trans mount also goes bad, try putting it in drive with your foot on the brake and give it some gas and see if the engine moves an excessive amount.

How do i get the rear drums off

block front wheels jack up rear wheels make sure parking brake is off and that the wheel spins freely and waxk it with a big hammer
really just hit the drum top bottom and sides till the rust breaks away
if it breaks away and moves and still wont come off you might need to loosen the adjuster from the slotted hole on the back side
