Sounds like a front wheel bearing assembly. Won't last long if it's that noisy.

Could well be faulty shift solenoid. Very common problem. Drop trans pan and have a look. You may well find a solenoid has come apart.

My 2001 Nissan Xterra has been acting strange lately. I thought it needed a wheel alignment because it's been veering to the right and steering wheel shimmies at certain speeds (55). I called my...

The shimmy sound slike you may need your tires balanced. as far as drifting or pulling. you should have the front end shakin down to see if anything is loose. Those trucks are pretty good in the suspension area. But there is no way for me to tell if somethijg is loose or what is making the noise. very hard to tell. Try to feel if the truck makes the noise while shifting gears or while coasting or accelerating and if you hear it or more of a feel and is in the floor board or towards the front or middle or rear. all those things will help figure out what is going on.

Good Evening, oddly enough that sounds more like a hub assembly that is going out seeing as it is one of the only parts that will make noise and get louder as you go faster. One thing you might try is to veer to the left or right a little bit to see if the noise eases up some as you have some speed on it. You should notice some difference however it is not completely uncommon for it to not go away either. As long as your tires are good, which I am guessing they are I would say the hub is what is making your noise. Hope this helps.

This sounds like the hub bearing. If it stops when you turn right then it is the right side front. When you veer right this takes the weight off the right side and the noise goes away.If the noise comes back and stays there when you veer left then the weight of the vehicle is on the right side.Hope this helps.Good luck.

LOUD WHIRRING NOISE FROM CHEVY BLAZER TRANNY

It sounds more like the pump, if the converter fails it would have a crazy lock up shifting problem. Sometimes the bearing for the torque converter will loosen and spin in the housing this to could be the issue.
