Pull the hose at the engine fuel rail coming from the firewall and check the flow there. If it's low at that point then I would inspect the steel fuel lines and see if one was crushed while removing and reinstalling the engine or even jacking up the Z. If you have a good pump than it would take a lot for something to slow the flow down to almost nothing. Even and old fuel filter can't get clogged enough to not start.

Replace fuel pump om 1990 nissa 300zx

Sort of.
There should be a relay that provides power to the pump when you first turn the key on.
Then once the engine starts power is provided by way of the oil pressure switch. That way the pump won't run in an accident.
The oil pressure switch grounds the fuel pump relay on some models.

a oil gauge reading maybe delayed until car starts and builds good oil press.Did you check for spark
was car running good before this happened? Do you have a rpm reading when cranking car?

1984 nissan 300zx oils pressure gauge goes to

Sounds like an electrical problem, make sure the ground leads to the engine are good and the battery terminals are clean. It might just be a bad connection in the wiring harness try jiggling the connections to see if it makes the gauges jump when it is running.

Vg30dett just had both turbos rebuilt still

how many miles you done with the new turbos?

There may still be oil in the system if it was not cleaned through correctly. should clear after a about 500 miles.

Otherwise you may have another fault, the oil ways sometimes give on these engines because of the pressure they force oil into the pots, this does not always cause the head gasket to blow and can last like that for a long time, check all around the head especially to the rear of the engine for any signs of oil.

check timing, see if belt may have slipped out of timing, and need pressure tester to test pressure where the fuel goes into the fuel filter. check for vaccuum leaks.

Car wont start

Fuel delivery must be confirmed with a fuel pressure gauge on this vehicle. Disconnecting the fuel line and cranking the engine to see fuel shooting out does not confirm pressure, it only confirms fuel delivery. Remember you need both fuel delivery and pressure. On this vehicle if the psi is off by just one number that's enough to keep it from starting. Also replacing the coil and rotor (as you stated) does not confirm that spark is reaching the plugs. Confirm that both spark and adequate fuel pressure are reaching ALL the spark plugs.

Engine timing problems

Doubtful, since you shouldn't have to remove the timing belt to change the pump. You have the VG30E engine, from which the VG30DETT in my 1990 300ZX was derived, and that one also didn't need the timing belt removed to change the water pump. However, you may have had to remove the cam angle sensor (on my engine, it's a round sensor on the driver's side exhaust cam). That sensor rotates twice for every turn of the crank, so if it got spun accidentally, it could be 360 degrees out of phase. It's keyed to only fit in one position on the end of the cam, but it could've been rotated one full revolution accidentally. If your engine has one, remove it carefully and slowly, then reach into the back of it, turn the pin one full turn, and reinstall it. Try that out and see if the car then starts and runs.

Your injector harness connectors may be broken - it happens on these cars due to their location and the extreme heat of the VG30DETT motor. If yours are broken, check with www.courtesyparts.com or www.z1motorsports.com and see if they still sell replacement connectors. It's also possible that the injectors have failed, and need replacement.
