OK, so these details should be found in the car's information booklet. All of the car's document should be in there, if it's not- I would try to contact the person who sold you the car any way you can

Volkswagen 2006 Jetta, shaking while driving and accelerating.

Retrieve the trouble codes and fix any problems. if you dont have acces to scanner there are places out there that will scan it for free. Know, however, that just scanning it it's not a diagnosis. Fix the leaks, change the oil and add propper amount and type of oil. The shaking of the engine could be due to misfires causing the vehicle to run rough but in order to find out you need to retrieve the trouble codes. Best bet is to take it to a shop and have it diagnosed.

Is it worth to keep my 1990 Toyota Corrola if THE MILEAGE IS 99,560 miles as of today. I have just get oil change and minor maintenance last saturday, 11/13/10 and spent $650 for new starter last 3/10/10...

The easiest way to figure out if it is worth keeping is to add up the cost of repairs for last year. Do not add oil changes, tires, gas or brakes because these need to be done on a new car as well as an old car. When you have a total for repairs for the year divide that number by 12. This is what it costs you to drive your car. If this is less than the monthly payments on a new car then keep the old car. Hope this helps.

3.5 or 5 quarts of oil? How do I know for sure?

Add 3 quarts, then start checking the dip stick. Add extra until you're within range.

When breaking, there is a tapping sound plus you can see oil leak on the in side of the rear passenger tire. I was thinking about oil pan in the tire, please help me, because I know that it is not cv

If it is gear oil instead of brake fluid, then the noise and oil is from the rear wheel bearing (and seal) being bad. They would need changed immediately. Rick

2004 jeep grand cherokee, 4.0, change oil without filter change,

Not sure why the question is even being asked, but you can change the oil yourself in about 15 minutes; simply jack the front end, put a pan under the oil drain plug, open the plug, let it drain, put the plug back in, and add new oil.

Take it to any outlet that changes oil (Wal-Mart, for example, charges about $18, some places charge as little as $15) and they'll include a new filter because otherwise you're running new oil through an old filter, which defeats the idea of the oil change. You can ask them not to put on a new filter, but you'll still pay the base price.

My question is, why would you not want a new filter if you're changing oil.

Let me know if this answers your question.
