Question about 1986 Saab 900
These are very good cars and that is young. The way these cars are set up though, the oil pan IS the top of the transaxle. The engine faces towards you as you are sitting in the car. These are not easy to fix. Or cheap. If this car is a turbo and driven a little like a sports car, it wouldn't be uncommon for this to happen. Fist because of take off and third because you would down shift to this gear on the highway to pass. You will need to find a reputable transmission technician that is willing to take these cars on.
