Default radio lock code

The code is different for every radio. The only way to get the radio lock code would be to go to a dealer. Some dealers will do it for nothing, others will charge you about 50 to 60 dollars to retrieve and unlock the radio. It is possible that the dealer will not be able to retrieve the code and you may have to put in a after market stereo into the car(I had this happen to me once). If you don't have the code, your best bet is to take it to the dealer as putting in too many wrong codes will only further lock your radio and prevent you from making further attempts.

How to put code into 1997 lasabre radio, i know the code.

If you are refering to the Theft Lock code, you must first push the right sequence of radio buttons to enter the un lock mode in the radio's computer. Once the radio's Theft Lock Identifier code is displayed, you then enter the un lock code into the radio. Ususally, this is a dealer operation as they have the online program to retrieve the unlock code after they submit your Theft Lock ID code. I'm wondering how you were able to get a unlock code without the dealer's assistance.
